Synopsis: Critically review literature relevant to field of study and derive an appropraite hypothesis for testing. Devise an appropriate research design noting practical problems and ethical considerations.

Assessment: Research project including a report of no more than 15,000 words + Research seminar presentation + Students may only receive a SFR (satisfactory grade) for this unit as it forms part of the total thesis component of the course.
