Synopsis: Health and illness needs of clients and groups in the community. Support services available in the community. The psychosocial impact on, and the life situation of, the individual facing continual physical and/or intellectual challenges. Home base management of a range of conditions, care coordination issues, and models of health promotion and health education.

Assessment: Health needs assessment project: 50% Comprising of a Group presentation: 25% and a group report: 25% + Examination: 50%

Contact Hours: 5 hours per week (lectures, tutorials, labs) plus 75 hours clinical
