Synopsis: Topics include objectives and implementation of agricultural policies in Australia and other countries; theories of the policy-making process; agribusiness organisations and the role of government; technological change and environmental issues.

Assessment: Review paper (4500 words): 45% + Case studies: 25% + Seminar presentation: 30%

Contact Hours: 2-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial per week

Prerequisites: MKP9720, MKP9740, MKP9710, AFX9100 and MGP9420.
