Synopsis: The international environment including international trade and investment, and the legal, political, cultural and technological contexts faced by internationalising organisations; forms of operations available to the internationalising organisation; the impact of the multinational enterprise; international strategic planning.

Assessment: On-campus - Individual assignment (2000 words): 25% + Individual assignment (2500 words): 35% + Examination (2 hours): 40%. Off-campus - Assignment one (2000 words): 25% + Assignment two (2500 words): 35% + Examination (2 hours): 40%

Contact Hours: 2-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial per week

Prerequisites: MGF1010 or MGX1010, MGX1300
