Synopsis: An investigation into a mechatronically oriented industrial problem either at the university or in industry. Students use various tools in their study (eg laboratory work, field studies and literature survey) as the case may dictate.

Assessment: Progress reports: 20% + Oral presentation: 20% + Final Report: 60%
