Synopsis: Selected topics from the following. Electromagnetics and energy conversion processes. Three phase systems. Dc machines. Power transformers. Synchronous machines. Three phase induction motors. Single phase induction motors. Stepper motors. Introduction to power distribution.

Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 60% + Class tests: 20% + Laboratory: 20%
