Synopsis: As for GSC2714.

Assessment: Agency visit and tutorial presentation: 40% + Test (1 hour): 20% + Essay (2000 words): 40% + Students taking this unit at third year level will be required to write their essays from a separate list of topics and will be required to show a greater depth of critical analysis of argument and issues than is expected of thos writing their essays at a second year level. Students at the third year level will also be required to answer test questions of a more theortical and conceptual nature.

Contact Hours: 2 hours per week (1-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial for 12 weeks, one week will be devoted to agency visits)
