Assessment: Essay (2000 words): 40% + Two tutorial papers (1000 words each): 20% each + Examination (1 hour): 20% + Third year students will be expected to demonstrate a greater critical awareness consistent with the stated subject objectives.

Contact Hours: 3 hours (1 hour lecture and 2 hour tutorial) per week

Prerequisites: a second year sequence in geography, or permission
