Synopsis: The systematic study of psychopathology and associated clinical manifestations from infancy to old age. Studies include major psychoses, developmental and personality disorders and the neuroses. Interventions following diagnosis in a variety of settings including in-patient, out-patient clinic and community facilities. Legal and ethical issues and their practical implications.

Assessment: Written (1000 words): 20% + Assignment (4000 words): 80%

Contact Hours: 3 hours per week

Prerequisites: Australian Psychological Society accredited major sequence in psychology
