Synopsis: This unit develops knowledge and skills about teaching and learning in Secondary schools in Business and Commerce related units at the secondary school level. It builds on the skills and knowledge attained in EDF5426 and 5427. Students will undertake specific research into emerging curriculum and assessment issues relevant to learning outcomes for Business Studies in secondary schools.

Assessment: Assessment: Essay: 50%, Portfolio: 50%

Contact Hours: 3 hours per week

Prerequisites: EDF5426 and EDF5427 and any, or combinations of, a minor sequence (two years of study) in Accounting or Economics or Legal Studies or Business Studies/Business Management from a recognised tertiary institution
