Synopsis: Characteristics and experience of developing countries; theories of economic growth and development; domestic and external sources of financial and human resources for development; the roles of international trade, investment, technology manufacturing and government in the development process

Assessment: Written (3000-word essay): 40% + Examination (3 hours): 60%
