Synopsis: An introduction to momentum transfer. Topics include fluid statics; differential and integral balances of mass, momentum and energy; flow measurement; pipe flow and frictional losses; dimensional analysis; pumps; compressible flow.

Assessment: Examinations: 70% + Assignments: 30%
