Synopsis: Studio projects introduce the elements of the medium enabling the formulation of expressive language. Students explore contemporary jewellery issues while gaining knowledge and understanding of the materials, techniques and processes applied in the building of contemporary jewellery and metal work.

Assessment: Folio: 80% Assigned projects: 20%

Contact Hours: 6 hours studio and 6 hours study and practice per week

Prerequisites: admission to BFA or BVA

Corequisites: FNA1000
