Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership


General information

The Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership is designed for students in a range of organisations in both the human service sector and corporate sector, who prefer being associated with a generic organisational, rather than an educational tag upon graduation.

Admission requirements

To be eligible for admission to the course, applicants must hold either an approved three-year bachelors degree and an approved fourth year of study, or an approved four-year bachelors degree, or have qualifications or experience considered by the faculty board to be equivalent to, or a satisfactory substitute for, the above awards.

Course outline

The course consists of 48 credit points of study. Students will complete four 12-point units (three specialist elective units and one general elective units):

Candidates who successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership may complete a masters degree by undertaking up to a further two units (including a research core unit).

Length of course/workload required

The Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership requires a minimum of at least one year of full-time study and no more than three years of part-time study. Each of the units is one semester in length. The expected number of hours per week for a part-time student is 24.
