Graduate Certificate of Business (Management)

The Graduate Certificate of Business (Management) a four-unit course that provides an introduction to the functions of business management. Case studies and business applications give students insights into the interdependent and dynamic nature of managerial work. Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate of Business (Management) may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma of Business (Management).

Applicants require a pass degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution Applicants without a first degree who have a minimum of six years appropriate employment experience should refer to the section on executive certificates. Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of two credit exemptions for units considered to be equivalent to particular units in the course of study and is restricted to study completed in the last five years. Refer to the course director for further details.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Faculty of Business and Economics - Gippsland as to the 2003 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.

Course structure

The course consists of two core units and two elective units.
