Kathy Blashki 6 points + 3 hours per week + First, second semester + Berwick, Caulfield + Prohibitions: MGX1230, GCO1063, ELC1001, Synopsis: Analysis of the strengths, the weaknesses and the applications of selected contemporary communication theories, perspectives, strategies and models to ethical and effective professional and business interaction; practical research skills; the application of a range of research and writing skills and strategies to provide a portfolio of technical, business and professional documents, including requirements specifications and tender documents. Effective communication, cooperation and negotiation within a team environment. Effective intercultural communication. Assessment: Three assignments: Team electronic portfolio of technical and business documents: (25%), Team research project and presentation: (25%), Individual project and multimedia presentation: (20%). A two hour examination: (30%) |
