Berwick: Dr Sharif As-Saber (Chief Examiner); Gippsland + OCDL: Mr Jeff Wrathall; Peninsula: Mr Max Coulthard; Malaysia: Dr Tee Ding Ding

6 points + One 2-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial per week + Gippsland, Peninsula, Malaysia, OCDL, second semester + OCDL, approximately 12 hours per week + Prerequisite: MGW1010 or equivalent

Synopsis: A study of management theory related to varying cultures, the multinational business enterprise and the significance of cross-cultural variables in the business environment. Topics include ethics and social responsibilities; communication; leadership; motivation, control and conflict; human resource management and industrial relations.

Assessment: On-campus: Assignment one: 25% + Group project: 25% + Class presentation: 10% + Examination (2 hours): 40%. Distance: Two assignments: 60% + Examination (2 hours): 40%
