Synopsis: This unit follows MGC2110 and considers the practical applications of strategic management concepts and theories. Students are required to apply critical thinking and research skills to strategic problem solving in contemporary Australian cases. The emphasis is on analysis and judgement to identify strategic issues, evaluate options and recommend action. The objective is to develop students' skills in independent strategic thinking.

Assessment: Group assignments (5000 words): 50% + Examination (2 hours): 50%
