Synopsis: Topics include cost estimating techniques; network techniques; time analysis and scheduling; CPM and PERT; resource allocation, scheduling, constraining and levelling; project costing, project scheduling and project control; risk identification and project quality; example applications in both manufacturing and service industries; review of commercially available software and use of PC-based project management package.

Assessment: 2 Assignments: 40% + Examination (2 hours): 60%
