FRN2525French Studies 2/VB(ART)
Patrick Durel 6 points + 4 hours per week + Second semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: FRN2515 Synopsis: A continuation of FRN2510, this unit builds upon the skills developed in first semester, with a particular focus on specific expository techniques: synthese and expose. Students will continue to familiarise themselves with issues in contemporary France, with emphasis on documents representative of the discourses of the social sciences. They will further develop their critical awareness of these issues. The subject constitutes an excellent preparation for the DALF exam (B3, B4.) Assessment: Two take home assignments (1800 words): 15% + Two class assignments (1200 words): 15% + Two oral presentations: 30% + Examination (1 hour): 25% + continuous assessment: 15% |
