6 points + 2 hours per week + Second semester + Peninsula + Prerequisites: EDF2507 and EDF2508.

Synopsis: TThis unit will examine the provision of quality childcare services for children under 3 years of age, including relationships, programming and environments. The importance of partnerships with parents will be stressed. Students will undertake a placement as well as visits in an under 3 program.

Assessment: PGO will be awarded in this unit. Students must receive a satisfactory grade in both the written tutorial requirements and practicum placement + Written Assignment: 2400 words + Tutorial tasks: 1600 words + Hurdle: 80% attendance at lectures/tutorials
