3D design and visualisation G

3 points + 6 hours per week, including 2 studio hours and 4 hours of independent study + Second semester + Caulfield + Prerequisites: DIS4101 and VCO4403

Synopsis: This subject introduces the student to the potential of computers as tools for artists and designers working in three demensions (3D). While the acquisition of skills, in particular the ability to create, adapt, edit and manipulate elements and objects within space, is an essential component of this subject, emphasis is also placed on the encouraging the student's creative and expressive abilities using this medium.

Assessment: Exercises:50% + Journal:10% + Project work:40%
