DIS4102Digital imaging 2G(A&D) Not offered in 2003 To be determined 3 points + 6 hours per week, including 2 studio hours and 4 hours of independent study + Second semester + Caulfield + Prerequisites: DIS4101 Synopsis: Digital imaging 1G encourages the creative, open and innovative use of the computer as a design tool. Digital imaging 1G increases the technical competence of students so they have the skills to realise their creative aspirations. Students are introduced to increasingly complex capabilities of the computer and the use of peripheral devices. They use the various software options with growing skill and expertise. At this level students are encouraged to identify ways in which their digital imaging abilities can be used or incorporated into other studio areas. Assessment: Weekly exercises:40% + Projects:50% + Journal: 10% |
