CSE2200Systems design and implementation(IT)
M Dick 6 points + One 2-hour lecture and one 2-hour tutorial per week + First, second semester + Caulfield + Prerequisites: CSE1203 and CSE1205 + Prohibitions: CSE3308, BUS2071, CFR2126, CFR2161, CSC3151, CSE2401, SFT2201, SYS2071, SYS2161, SYS3076, GCO2816, CPE2003 Synopsis: Topics include object-oriented analysis and design notations including UML; object-oriented design methods; user interface design and prototyping; object-oriented development processes; software architecture styles and frameworks and design patterns; interfacing OO systems with procedural languages and relational databases; implementation issues for OO systems. Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 40% + Unit test and practical work: 60% |
