Object-oriented analysis and design

6 points + 4 hours per week + Second semester + Gippsland, OCDL + Prerequisite: GCO2813 + Prohibitions: SYS3090, SYS3094

Synopsis: Object-oriented concepts, abstraction and modelling; class modelling; identification, classification, association, generalisation and aggregation, inheritance, meta-data and notation for object modelling; dynamic modelling; events, scenarios, concurrency, synchronisation, event trace diagrams and state transition diagrams; object-oriented development methodologies; object-oriented analysis and design; object communication models; integration of models; translation of object models to relational databases.

Assessment: Assignments: 55% + Examination (3 hours): 45%
