Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Economics

The following should be read in conjunction with the statements on the Bachelor of Commerce and the Bachelor of Economics.
The double-degree course of Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics requires a minimum of four years full-time study, or five years for a degree with honours, or the equivalent in part-time study. Entry to this combination is based on the entry requirements for the Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Students are required to complete the following compulsory subjects:

Students wishing to take first-year subjects other than those on the above list are able to undertake the second-year versions of the appropriate number of compulsory subjects. This allows students to complete substantial work in related fields.
Students must complete a major in either economics or econometrics and business statistics and a second major in another discipline or field of study.
The following are also requirements of the course:

Students must have their program of study approved by the course coordinator or the course coordinator's nominee prior to commencement of the relevant year.
