Associate Professor Julian Teicher 6 points + Two 1-hour lectures and one 1-hour tutorial per week + First and second semester + Clayton + Prohibition: MGC1030 Synopsis: This subject examines the nature of managerial work in organisations; theories of management and their historical development; the management of people as individuals and groups; the importance of leadership and motivation; the principles by which change is introduced into organisations; and the key factors in the organisation's environment that impact on the work of managers and the organisations.
