Gippsland: Ms Wendy Webber (Chief examiner); Malaysia: Dr Tee Ding Ding 6 points + Two 1-hour lectures per week and one 1-hour tutorial + Distance, approximately 12 hours per week, first and second semester + Berwick, Gippsland, Malaysia, second semester + Peninsula, first semester + Prerequisite: MGW1010 or equivalent + Prohibitions: MGB2430, MGG2324, MGX2661 Synopsis: Analysis of the global context for HRM, the strategic role of HRM, human resource planning, job design, staffing, performance management, development of employee capabilities, reward systems, legal issues in employment, HRM auditing, and the contribution of HRM to competitive advantage.
