Synopsis: This subject examines the strategic roles of human resource development in organisations: training; management and career development; and organisational development. Theories and factors affecting training outcomes; and economic, ethical, legal and financial considerations are considered also.

Assessment: Written assignments and presentations: 50% + Examination (2 hours): 50%
