Dr Steven Siems 4 points + 36 lectures and 11 support/practice classes + First semester + Clayton/Caulfield + Prerequisite: ENG1902 + Corequisite: ENG1603 + Prohibitions: MAT2901, MAT2902, MAT2910, MAT2941 or MAC2901 Synopsis: Vector analysis: gradient, divergence and curl. Integration: line and multiple integrals including integration over curves, surfaces and solids. Fourier series: periodic functions and trigonometric series, Euler formulue, even and odd functions, half-range expansions.Partial differential equations: separation of variables for the heat, wave and Laplace equations. Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 70% + Tests and assignments: 30% |
