Early childhood mathematics, science and technology

Synopsis: How young children construct their understandings of mathematical, scientific and technological phenomena. Developmentally appropriate teaching techniques and the importance of young children's language development in these curricula areas. During the practicum students plan, implement and assessing a variety of appropriate maths, science and technology experiences.

Assessment: Practical diary: 30% + Technology project: 30% + Planning Assignment/Examination: 40%+ Hurdle Requirement: Satisfactory completion of all tutorial/workshop tasks.
