Graduate Certificate in Clinical Trials


General information

This course offered by the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine aims to provide a graduate program for professionals working in the area of clinical trials that wish to expand their knowledge and skills in this area.
The course is completed in one year part-time. It is not offered on a full-time basis. This degree allows students to gain core competencies in epidemiology, biostatistics and clinical trials issues that can be built upon in the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology and master degrees.
Applicants must have a medical degree, a bachelors degree with honours or graduate diploma, or a three-year bachelors degree with relevant professional experience in a health-related field. The department will individually assess applications from students with a nursing diploma completed before the introduction of nursing degrees.

This course is comprised of three core subjects and one elective subject.

Assessment is by written assignment, examination and individual presentation.
