Synopsis: As for MUS3910 but with two additional assignments totalling 4000 words concentrating on a specific topic relating to the music of sub-Saharan Africa.

Assessment: Written (4000 words): 40% + Examinations (1.5 hours): 45% + Assignment: 15%
