Synopsis: The interface between performance appraisal systems, training and development practices and the implementation of reward systems. Topics covered include setting and measuring performance standards, performance assessment, training needs analysis, evaluating training and development, management development, compensation and benefits administration.

Assessment: Class presentation: 15% + Group project: 20% + Assignment (2000 words): 25% + Examination: (2 hours): 40%
