Overseas study in international and comparative management

Synopsis: First-hand observation o the range of management practices, business operations and cultures which impact on international management. Comparative analyses of countries to determine consistencies (and inconsistencies) between practice and the literature.

Assessment: Written assignment (5000 words): 50% + Tutorial presentation (30 minutes): 10% + Background paper to presentation: 15% + Communication and interpersonal skills (includes interview skills, cultural sensitivity and tutorial participation): 25%
