Synopsis: Part 1: A communicatively oriented German language course. Topics include, education, work, crime, personal relationships, migration and the environment. Part 2: A reading course encouraging an intercultural perspective on a variety of German literary texts and discourse forms, primarily from the postwar period. The texts are arranged thematically under the headings /language0, /life-stories0 and /love0. The language of tuition is German.
Assessment: Written (1500 words): 40% + Examinations (2 hours): 60%
