Printmaking Studio 4G

12 points + Second Semester +Caulfield + 24 hours per week including 8 contact hours and 16 independent study hours + Prerequisites: FNA4403

Synopsis: Builds on the skills acquired in the first part of the Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts - Printmaking stream, or equivalent qualification, and allows students to take their knowledge of the discipline of fine arts printmaking and related media to a professional level. Allow students to make a concentrated investigation of their preferred printmaking methods, and to attain a high degree of control of these methods. Students will negotiate their semester's work as a studio-based project at a professional level. Lectures will encourage a flexible idea of possible outcomes, as is appropriate in current practice. Studio access and technical support are integral.
