12 points + First Semester + Caulfield + 24 hours per week including 8 contact hours and 16 independent study hours + Prerequisite: FNA4402 or equivalent

Synopsis: This subject builds on the skills acquired in FNA4402, and allows students to take their knowledge of the discipline of fine arts printmaking and related media to a more advanced level. The subject will encourage intensive investigation of printmaking methods in order for the student to gain increasing control over the expressive possibilities which these media offer. Students will negotiate projects in consultation with the lecturer from a range of studio options available that use printmaking, and other suitable fine arts media, in order to realise the student's artistic aims. Studio access and technical support are integral.
