Synopsis: Second subject for the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts - Printmaking stream. The subject builds on the skills acquired in Printmaking Studio 1G. In discussion with the lecturer, students will further develop ways that they might realise their artisic goals in the setting of the printmaking studio. Students will extend their areas of knowledge and gain control of additional methods and materials in printmaking. Critical dialogue with lecturers and peers so that development of the theoretical and aesthetic understanding of the student is in parallel with growing technical competence. Studio access and technical support are integral.
