48 points - Full-year subject, comprising formal class contact and private study - Clayton - Prerequisites: Third-year applied physics/image processing subjects with appropriate compulsory units

Synopsis At least six units are to be taken, with 'Experimental design and data handling', 'Advanced instrumentation' and 'Readings in applied physics' being compulsory. Students are required to present a report on an original applied/experimental project chosen in consultation with their supervisor.

Assessment Examinations (normally 6x2 hours): 50% - Applied/experimental project: 50%
