MGA0013

Research in group psychotherapy

15 workshops of 1.25 hours · Prerequisite: MGA0011

Objectives At the conclusion of this subject students should have developed their abilities to discuss, defend and criticise issues of research in human behaviour, especially as they relate to their own research topics.

Synopsis This subject is a continuation of MGA0011, but with the format of each session being more of a workshop than a seminar. Material from MGA0011 (year three) will be explored further. The workshops will also provide a forum for the students to explore ideas related to their dissertations as well as to discuss their projects, research difficulties and achievements according to individual needs. Students are expected to present progress reports on their research during and at the end of the semester.

Assessment Attendance at workshops, and performance at two presentations of research work. Students must pass both aspects of assessment. Assessment will be at pass grade only.
