The Institution of Engineers, Australia, Caulfield Award

A prize of $2000 and a plaque awarded to the top final-year degree student in the existing degrees of Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Computing) or (Electrical and Computing) or (Industrial and Computing) or (Mechanical and Computing). Criteria on which the award in based include academic record, personal qualities, and interest and involvement in professional and other activities.

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Computing)

D R Axup and Associates Prize

A prize of $200 will be awarded annually for a period of three years from 1996 to the Caulfield student with the top overall performance in the subjects CVE4181 (Traffic engineering and planning) and CVE4182 (Municipal and highway engineering).

Melbourne Water

Two prizes of $250 to be awarded, at the discretion of the Department of Civil Engineering, to the student or students exhibiting outstanding overall performance in (i) the level-three subjects CVE3161 (Hydraulics), CVE3171 (Public health engineering) and CVE3162 (Hydrology) and (ii) in the subject ENC4012 (Computer applications 7C).

Pryda (Aust.) Pty Ltd

A prize of $200 awarded to the student with the best overall performance in the third-year subjects CVE3121 (Structural engineering 3) and CVE3122 (Structural engineering 4).

Timber Promotion Council

A prize of $200 is to be awarded, at the discretion of the lecturer in the subject CVE3131 (Timber engineering), to a student displaying a special interest in, or aptitude for, timber design.

APMA Pump Studies Prize

The Australian Pump Manufacturers' Association has provided $500 worth of awards to be given for the best student project in the area of pumps and the best student in second year studying fluids and energy.

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Computing) (Industrial and Computing)

Bachelor of Technology (Advanced Manufacturing Technology) Prize

A prize of $150 plus a plaque will be awarded annually to the BTech(AMT) student achieving the highest average mark upon completion of the degree.

Brian Sullivan Award

Awarded to the most improved second-year industrial engineering student. The award consists of $100 plus software, manuals and books to the value of $250.

Institute of Industrial Engineers Third-Year Industrial Engineering Student Award

A prize of $200 and a certificate donated by the Institute of Industrial Engineers will be awarded annually to a Monash University student predominantly undertaking full-time, third-year industrial engineering studies. The award is to be made to the student who achieves the best overall academic results in their third-year studies and will be awarded to that student nominated by the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers Annual Award

A prize of $250 will be awarded annually to a third-year student enroled for the full third-year subjects who has provisionally enroled for subjects relevant to lubrication and wear, offered in year four of the Bachelor of Engineering degree at Caulfield campus. The award will be based on the highest average score from the group of students who fulfil the above requirements.
