Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be able to devise and execute a front-end analysis, plan a project management strategy for instructional materials and resources development and present a prototype project plan for development and implementation.

Synopsis This subject deals with the planning and development of instructional materials and resources. Set in the context of technology and learning, the subject explores the potential of and issues associated with the various dimensions of materials and learning systems development.

Assessment Preparation of a front-end analysis/needs assessment report: 40% - Development of a project management plan and profile: 30% - Prototype development: 30%
