Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be able to critically evaluate the conceptual definitions of learning difficulties; be aware of impairments associated with learning difficulties; recognise methods of early identification; and be knowledgeable about outcomes for children and adolescents with learning difficulties.
Synopsis This subject focuses on identification, assessment and strategies for intervention. Curriculum and management implications will be discussed within the framework of an inclusive environment.
Assessment Written assignment (3000 words): 50% - Class presentation (4000 words): 50%
