Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should demonstrate knowledge of the main principles of behaviour, by defining and illustrating each principle, by explaining how each principle is investigated, and by showing how the principles can be combined in the design of behaviour change strategies; demonstrate skills in collecting, presenting, and evaluating behavioural data; demonstrate an appreciation of behaviour analysis as an integrated discipline that makes empirical, methodological and conceptual contributions to knowledge.

Synopsis This subject examines the concepts underlying behaviour change strategies. Research findings in the field and the skills involved in applying behaviour change strategies are reviewed.
