This four-subject course has been designed to provide an introductory graduate
qualification in management. Two of the subjects are core subjects, and two are
electives. The program can be completed in one year of part-time study, and
depending on the units chosen, can easily articulate into further graduate
studies such as the Graduate Diploma in Business Management.
On completion of the course students should:
Applicants require a pass degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution plus a minimum of two years relevant employment experience. Applicants without a first degree who have a minimum of six years appropriate employment experience should refer to the section on executive certificates.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of Management as to the 1999 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of two credit exemptions for subjects considered to be equivalent to particular subjects in the course of study. Please refer to the course director for further details.
Classes are normally offered in evening, and/or in Friday/Saturday teaching modes at the Caulfield campus.
The Graduate Certificate in Management is normally completed in two semesters of part-time study.

Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Management meet the entry requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Business Management and are exempted from four subjects in the Graduate Diploma program.
