Objectives At the completion of the subject the students will be able to identify the key components involved with successfully managing a retail/wholesale business environment in the 21st century, appraise the rapidly changing retail environment, in terms of the fundamental issues facing retail/wholesale businesses now and in those expected in the future and apply technology to the strategic planning of a simulated retail/ wholesale business, through the application of a software program.

Synopsis This subject provides a conceptual framework for the management of the strategic planning and development of a retail/wholesale business environment.
