Asian employment relations

Objectives The objective of this subject is to familiarise students studying business disciplines with employment practices in a variety of Asian countries. Students will acquire a sound knowledge of employment regulation across those countries, and be able to relate employment regulation in the context of different business systems which have developed at firm level in those countries.

Synopsis This subject is designed to enable students undertaking the employment relations stream of the Bachelor of Business management major to develop an Asian comparative focus to their studies. It also services the needs of those students wishing to develop an understanding of Asian employment relations from an interest rather than vocational perspective.
