Objectives On completion of this subject students should have a clear understanding and satisfactory working knowledge of the corporate finance function; have the basic analytical ability to evaluate financing and investing policies and proposals; demonstrate competence in business communication through written assessment in this subject.

Synopsis This subject aims to give students an understanding of the conceptual framework of business finance and to develop the skills of analysis and evaluation needed in applying the concepts to the practical situation. Topics covered include capital budgeting, financing, working capital and other relevant applications.
