Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject students should have acquired oral communication skill for socialisation;developed composition skills in writing, be able to read fluently and to comprehend and interpret reading texts accurately.

Synopsis This course is designed to expand students' ability in conversation, moving from simple exchange of information towards social dialogues, expression of feelings, opinions and knowledge in such areas as health and physical condition, travel, weather, sport and leisure, geography, etc. In the writing component, students will develop their composition skill on a variety of topics. The reading component will be based on short narratives derived from actual Thai materials.

Assessment Examination (2 hours): 40% -Oral examination: 30% -Assignments and classwork: 30%
